ENGAGING ACTIVITIES YOUR STUDENTS WILL LOVE!

It’s Not Going to Be Easy

Well, its that time again and although I am REALLY excited to get back into the swing of school, meet my new kids, try out all the things I learned at I Teach K, etc., etc., etc.  I know its not going to be easy.  Even if I  had the “perfect” class I am still very hard on myself and push myself to be a better teacher everyday.  It’s not going to be easy.  I have promised myself that this year I will blog more during the school year and I know it’s not going to be easy (I can attest to that right now as I just want to crawl into bed at 7:30 p.m. after working in my room all day)!  I have learned that balancing it all – wife, mommy, teacher, friend, daughter – is not easy.  But through all this “hard work” I have learned that IT IS WORTH IT!

When I saw this it was love at first sight.  I know that in the “not going to be easy time ahead” I sometimes need a reminder.  So I used this image to create a new desktop background for my computer.  To me this just said “pair me with some chevron” so I did.  Here’s my new background:

If you would like the reminder for yourself, just click on the picture to download your own copy!  Once you save it to your computer, go to wherever it is you change your desktop image on your computer and select this image.

Now, I’m off to do something easy – cut out!  Pretty brainless and perfect for this tired body!
